Came in for a WOF fail on brakes. Found the rear callipers seized as well as the pads the tester flagged — replaced the lot rather than patching just what failed the test.

Booked in as a straight WOF re-test after a brakes fail. Pulled the wheels and found the rear callipers seized as well as the pads the tester had flagged — the seized callipers were dragging, which is exactly what had worn the pads unevenly in the first place. Replacing just the pads would have failed again within a few thousand kilometres. Replaced both rear callipers, pads and rotors, bled the full system and road-tested before handing back. Passed re-test the same day.
